Fundraising is an integral part of any successful organization. With the help of these businesses, organizations, and YOU, the Lloyd Memorial High School Marching Band can continue to enjoy the high level of success and proud tradition we have established in our community.
TOP FUNDRAISERS
B-I-N-G-O!...
The Band Boosters will host Bingo every Wednesday and Friday at the Ludlow Bingo Hall, 869 Oak Street, Ludlow, KY. Doors open at 5:30, Jitneys start at 6:30 and regular games start at 7:30. We need 8-10 volunteers to work each night. Volunteers should be at the hall no later than 5:15 if possible. Doors open to the public at 5:30 and games start at 6:30. The evening usually wraps up 10:00-10:30. Even if you are not able to make it until late, or if you are only able to work for a couple of hours, we need your help! CAR WASH FUNDRAISER
We will be hold a car wash on Saturday July 19th 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. All marching band students who work will split 100% of the profits to be applied directly toward their band fees. Contact Rachel Rentschler to sign up!

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS GO ON SALE AUGUST 5TH

The Band Boosters will begin our annual Entertainment Book Sale on Tuesday, August 5th. Books will be available during our Booster meeting that evening. The sale will run through September 5th, with all proceeds benefiting the band program. Contact Rachel Rentschler for more information.

Great Lakes Gift Cards
Our Great Lakes Scrip Center fundraiser is still in full-swing. You can purchase gift cards for virtually any store imaginable at a discounted price. With every purchase, we earn money for the boosters. To learn more about this program and to view a list of the participating retailers, visit them at www.glscrip.com. Kroger Neighborhood Rewards Gift Cards
The Kroger Neighborhood Rewards Gift Card program is a great way to earn money for the boosters on things you buy anyway. You simply purchase a gift card and redeem it when you buy your groceries. The card is valid on virtually anything Kroger sells, other than services (Western Union, money orders, Ticket Master, postage stamps and lottery tickets). When the card is empty, reload it and earn even more money for the boosters! There is a two-day turn-around time on orders placed. Everytime you shop at GFS Marketplace, you could be earning valuable rewards for the band. Just mention Lloyd High School Marching Band at the checkout and we will get a percentage of the sales donated to us. This is a great place to save money on items you buy every day. They have 4 stores in the Greater Cincinnati area or you can visit them online at www.gfs.com.
Market Day
Market Day is a frozen/refrigerated food supplier that offers many convenient food items. You can order via their website at www.marketday.com or by contacting Joy Bradford at bradfordj@kwfdn.org. When ordering online, be sure to choose Lloyd as your school so we receive credit for your orders. July's deadline to place an order is Wednesday, July 9th, 9:00 pm. Orders will be available for pick-up on Tuesday, July 15th at 6:45 pm in the band room.

Save Those Aluminum Cans
Please remember to save your aluminum cans for recycling.They can be dropped off in the bandroom anytime. Please be sure they are properly bagged.
Band Boosters
If you haven't already joined, please sign up for your Band Booster Membership. Fees are only $5.00 per person per year. Meetings are held in the Lloyd band room the first Tuesday of each month. If you cannot attend a meeting, please call or email any officer or chairperson the week of the meeting to see how you can help! The boosters do all the "behind-the-scenes" stuff that makes our band successful on the field. Get involved and sign up today!
