The Lloyd Memorial High School Band Program consists of students from both Lloyd High School and Tichenor Middle School. Students have the opportunity to participate in Concert Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, and Marching Band throughout the school year.

The Band Boosters primarily support the marching band through fund-raising, prop building, transportation, and many other activities. In addition they also subsidize private lessons for instrumentalists as well as materials for Winter Guard.

                              Special Time and Place

            *The February band booster meeting will be held on Tuesday February 7th

              at 7:30 p.m. in the Tichenor Middle School Library.

           *If you have never been to a meeting now is the time to become involved.  The Middle

            school concert details will be available and other important information will be discussed.

           *We are holding it at the Middle school for those parents who might not know where

            anything is at the High School.

        *We offer college courses through NKU in the following classes for the Fall:

                      PSC 100 – American Politics   

                      ENG 101 – College Writing

                      MAT 119 – Pre-calculus

        Spring:

                      ART 100 – Art Appreciation

                      CMST 101 – Public Speaking

                      MAT 129 – Calculus I

 

   *All of these are paid completely by the board of education.  At today’s cost of education it is approximately    

      $9,000.00 at a public KY college.

                                         Mark Your Calenders:

       The 2nd Tuesday of each month is a band booster meeting at 7:30 in the bandroom. 

     If you are a parent of a child in the 6th through 12 grade bands you are encouraged to attend. 

     Many issues go towards the entire program, don't be left out!!

             Every Wednesday Night @ Pike's Place Bingo Hall in Covington.

             Doors open at 5:30, first game at 7pm, done by 10:00 pm

             Drive students /help set up/ help sell pull tabs/ help buddle pull tabs/ help clean up.

             Sign up for one week a month or as many as you want.
